The Egyptian Theatre opened in 1925 as an Egyptian-revival movie palace and is one of downtown Coos Bay's historic landmarks.

The Mighty Wurlitzer is the theatre's original 1925 Wurlitzer pipe organ. It's played live before Wednesday with Walt screenings, starting at 5:30 PM — just as audiences heard it in 1925.

The Egyptian Theatre is owned and operated by the Egyptian Theatre Preservation Association (ETPA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Every ticket helps preserve the 1925 landmark.
